Yeah, set up a gmail account and sync them over from Windows Mobile to gmail then when on Android add your gmail account.

No, you can boot one or the other.

I use WM at work and when I leave work I boot into Android to play around with it.

gotcha... now my dual boot only works from time to time. It doesn't always give me a choice. I just booted back to windows and it went straight there. Never gave me an option and i chose android last time. Didn't choose a default.

Sorry about this being not TP2 or HTC related, but it seemed like a better place to start then the droid general forums. Not much WinMo related other than bashing or talking about the app they miss from WinMo

Anyway, I love showing Android running on my TP2 to Droid users and one of them is a network consultant who has the need for a secure connection based on MS software.

Does anyone know of a project like this, but running WinMo on the Droid? Other solutions like emulators are welcome as well.

Thanks

Using the latest Mackie d/l I am getting a ton of FC's , and at one point the home process died and I had to reboot. This has happened at least 3 times. I have everything in ANDBOOT except for the rootfs, which is in root. Moving rootfs to ANDBOOT, still the same issues... .market will not download either; market.vending process dies.

I was having issues with mine, only free apps were showing up no matter what fake provider I chose with Market Enabler.

I looked up the MCC/MNC codes for Verizon and entered them in as a custom string and it is now showing paid apps in Market, not just the free ones.

Open Market Enabler -
Press Set Custom tab -
Where is says "gsm.sim.operator.numeric" type in 310012 in the field next to it.
Press "Set to this values" --- not proper grammar but that is what is says ---
Press Actual tab -
Press "Save current settings"

You should get confirmation of it creating fake provider and of it saving the settings with a quick pop-up of "Done and All Set"

Now open Market and you should see some paid apps
Mine is showing both apps in USD and Euros

EDIT:
I have noticed that you will need to make sure to make the changes in Market Enabler each time you want to access the Market with purchasable apps. It seems its a each time you boot into Android type of thing, not every time you open Market.

I'm on Sprint. For the "gsm.sim.operator.numeric" entry on MarketEnabler, I used 316010 successfully.

You probably won't find to many ports of WM to Android because of licensing issues. Android is open source, WM is not which, I believe would make the port a copyright infringement.
