Have installed the update on HTC TP2 on USCellular's network, but when I go into settings and click on the available networks, it just says searching and never finds any network. What am I missing?

But I decided to push the envelope and click the update button in the launcher. now it still launches but will restart after about 5 seconds. See the lock screen but can't load the home page. Also battery meter now shows red where before it was green. not sure if it see low power and shuts down or what.

Do you have enable cdma checked when you are booting up?
(Just making sure, its a common mistake).

I was having the same problem even with CDMA checked. I took out the sim card in the back. Not sure if VZW has one but it worked for my Sprint TP2.

Then try to manually search for the network. Its on settings somewhere. (you can find instructions on one of the FAQ pages also)
