What's most important, out of what's missing?

  • Sound
  • Speakerphone
  • Bluetooth
  • Camera
  • GPS
  • Hardware - 3D acceleration
  • USB Mass Storage
  • Touch Screen
  • Power Management
Just a small to-do list leftover on this development. Not saying
it's gonna be easy, but I'm willing to hang on for the ride..!!

I'm just trying to find out from everybody else's perspective,
what's the most important thing we're missing out on..??

Once each one of these developments becomes available I'll
take it off the list and when we're finally down to "0" items
left on the to-do list I think we'll all be a very
happy bunch of campers by then, and owe a GREAT
deal of Gratitude to those who have brought us
this awesome experience, an to each other for
the support we got goin on in here...

My vote is on Sound first

I would think sound and speakerphone fall into the same category. The reason we don't have speakerphone, is because the rear speaker isn't working. Ear piece sound works fine

Re: What's most important, out of what's missing?

For me, sound/speakerphone, power management, and making the touchscreen work better are the most important. Camera, GPA, and 3d acceleration are what I would want after those things, but they're not really essential.

Definitely power management, followed closely by sound. Phone is no good if I can't charge it or even know exactly how much battery I have left - or if it doesn't ring/vibrate on incoming calls, notifications, etc.

Otherwise, it's super fun to play around with. Screen is way to sensitive though!

Yeah those are some good choices.. The only reason I suggested the Camera at this stage is mainly for the APP's... Certain programs require the Camera function to be available "Google Goggles, Barcode Reader, etc"..

Point very well taken, hopefully it boils down to being able to tweak our own power settings like we can on our TP2's already, now that'd be some good shit..!! And I agree on the Screen issue, which is another fix I'm sure we have coming up not to far away... I don't know how many times I clicked on the main wallpaper and ending up clicking Widgets once the window opens up lol...

Re: What's most important, out of what's missing?

Again just my opinion, but once the power/sound issues are worked out that will probably get most of us on Android long term.

Right now it's usually just a few hour experimentation here and there.

Re: What's most important, out of what's missing?

I see everyone wants sound, as do I, but the phone is literally useless if it only lasts a few hours at best and I can't charge it in Android.
Mine was dead by 4pm yesterday, whereas WinMo would go just about 2 days on a single charge

Re: What's most important, out of what's missing?

I as well would like to have to power management working 1st. I don't notice the difference as much because I have the Verizon Extended battery, and I am still so rough on my battery that I still charge it once occasionally twice to get me through the day with Windows. I was able to get several hours use yesterday with my standard battery so I might have to try and get a time out of it this afternoon once my Extended battery is fully charged. I will post my findings on the forum here somewhere when my battery finally dies out.
