Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2

Hey got a question...It's a tiny annoyance that I can live with but just thought I'd check..When I boot into android it loads into landscape mode...I have to open the keyboard and shut it to get it to switch...I have read through all of these forums and havnt seen anything about it..I have unchecked the orientation box in android and it still loads like that...Anyone else have this happen or is it normal for now? Thanks for any help!

You can use any kernel, but be advised that those kernels are for a whole bunch of phones (blackstone, raphael, diamond, rhodium, etc..) So you can use any of the kernels, but sometimes (for example) when they're working on a fix for the Rhodium they end up breaking something for the Diamond etc... Just keep an eye on the changelogs to see if a newer kernel has any benefit for you.

That was the long answer

The short answer is you can use any kernel from that site
