Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
just wanna say good job and thanks to all the devs working on this, especially to mrpippy for reaching out to the cdma people. i really love it and check nearly every other hour for new releases.
my roommate's got the droid and ive been messing around with it...it's significantly smoother and less buggy than what we've got...do you think we're gonna be able to run android as smoothly if not smoother than current android phones? |

@Mazzakre:
Thnx for the advice, have tried...and still come up with a cup a third full. Its a bit annoying...but not a huge deal, since I'm not trying to run Android as my full time O/S. I treat it like a Ubuntu dual boot on my Windows machine...I'll play a bit on it but conduct my "business" on the Window's side.

Some users have had to go in and establish their mobile network, you might try that. Goto the Home screen, hit the Menu button, select Settings, then Wireless & network settings, then Mobile networks, and then Network operators. Once that screen comes up, choose Select automatically. If it doesn't say Registered on network, press it again. Once that is done, you can go back to the home screen and try Market again, if it still doesn't work after doing that, try shutting down and rebooting back into WM and then boot back to Android. Edit, only other thing I can think of is maybe something hosed in your Account, go back into settings and select Accounts and sync settings. if you see your gmail one, go ahead and remove it by tapping it and selecting remove. And then try re-adding it. |
