Keep in mind, that is how this thread is already designed, just that the 1st post isn't updated as often due to Op not being a forum guy, he is more into developing. So just asking if you guys want to do that. But again, this isn't anything that hasn't already been done in some form or fashion. If we get a few votes to do so then I will work on it, and try and put links to some of the other threads that cover different topics.

And I don't have to be the one that restarts the thread, we can just use one of the ones already out there if you wish. And I am definitely not promising to be here every hour of the day to give you the latest and greatest heh, so if someone else that has more time wants to by all means. I know Mackie has an all in one package thread, you guys can start using that one instead if you like.

Yeah my thread is kinda quiet.

My vote is to Restart it with an "involved" OP. Mr Pippy is great for his development of Android but not so great in the forums.

IMO, threads that have "involved" OPs go much smoother. Of course it is not a guarantee but in general I've noticed that threads where the OP generally doesn't contribute at all, degenerate very quickly.

New thread created, will work on getting it replaced as the Sticky as soon as I can. This thread can/should be closed so that further questions get asked in the new one.

I think it is wrong to start a new thread and take away from what Mr. Pippy has done and still is doing. As he stated he is jobless at the moment and any donations can help him at this time. What should be done and I am sure can easily be done is to get with Mr. Pippy and have someone else update the page for him, since he is busy working on this project. I am sure a simple PM can achieve this. The right thing to do is at least send a PM to him and ask him what he thinks.............plus really what more is to be updated to page 1 than it is already?

Addressed in the new thread. Thanks for reminding me.

We are continuing on the work of him and the many other developers, and will be putting any updates they put out. Is there an issue with this? We are just trying to have a more updated thread. Not trying to end it. Don't take it that we are trying to do away with it.

Just my opinion, but he'd probably get more donations if "chimed in" here and there. Even if it is just a once-a-week status update, that would go a long way. But to each his own.

Granted, Mr Pippy did alot of the heavy lifting in getting the current Android package together. But unfortunately in this thread, he has left it to others to do all the support.

I don't think this thread should be closed but perhaps it can be "unstickied" with another thread taking it's place as the "sticky" thread.

C, my only point is that you at least talk to him also. He did start the thread and it should only be closed as he wishes. That is all i am saying. It really does not matter to me, I just think it is the right thing to do first.

Understood. And I will see if he cares. It doesn't matter if it is closed or not to me, just thought it would be easier for everyone to find their way if they didn't ask questions in a thread that wasn't being watched as closely.

No offense was meant.
