Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
I went ahead and installed the latest files over to a fresh SD card and will use that for the meeting. I believe some of the issues stem from having the Android stuff mixed on the storage card with my WM files. I am up & running again, and in all honesty, it doesn't take that long to reinstall the apps & widgets I had before, plus the screen is much more accurate, which saves time too!
Thanks for your suggestions though! |
Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
Just an update. I just through on kernel Build: htc-msm-android@20100320_225430
I was excited when it said "Speed:very smooth x2" as one the jerky scrolling bothers me ( like speeeed mannnn!). It does seem a little bit snapier and the scrolling lag (overall) has improved. The speed of that main bottom slide up menu thing (whats that called?) is A LOT faster. Scrolling inside it was a little better as well. Good update, I havent tried the wifi teathering yet, I'll test that out sometime but everyone is saying it works fine. I love this project because of all the little updates that come out. I get to see it get a little better everyday. |

To reset the calibration and setup again just boot back into Windows Mobile and delete the ts-calibration file, usually in the root of your Storage Card. Next boot into Android should prompt you to set the calibration again. |
