The data is being corrupted somehow otherwise it wouldn't have superblock errors. I would try downloading the rootfs.img again just to be sure.

:/ Worst case your phone may be having issues but unlikely since you use the card for music. You would see definite lag or other issues by now if it was the card or phone. (I've had cards go bad *cough*sandisk*cough* twice)

hmm... I will try my 500MB card when I get home.

I don't get why it says "gsm phone found" when android is trying to load.
I don't have my sim card in.

everybodys says gsm phone found......ignore it

Sorry, left for a minute. Yea, you just pointed out your problem. That data image it makes is 256mb. There's no way it can make it if there's no room. You'll need at least a 512mb card to run this, but i recommend a 1gig. Room for improvement.

yay, it's working :)
must not of liked all the stuff on the card.
data wouldn't work with the sim card in, took it out and it picked a signal right up :)

i like the "X" boot screen, pretty neat graphic!

AHH.. the most I had free was only around 200MB, that explains the issue!!
it just rebooted out of no where though, lol
I don't think I let it load all the way and must of crashed due to memory

We should probably have something in this thread about minimum card size. I'd bet money that poeple all over don't know the boot loader creates a data.img file that big. I'm sure your not the first to come across this issue. Be sure there is atleast 500+ mb free on your sd card. Total install size is upwards of 440mb.

For searching purposes: Minimum card size micro sd data.img failed to mount /data requirement

Yes, it will reboot once most of the time. Sometimes twice or three times, but these builds are better these days.
