just extract the folder and throw it on the root of the card.....if it does not work just move all the files onto the root.....FYI...what I do is add a new folder for all of my current stuff for Winmo and drop all Droid files right into the root...

EDIT: Thanks to matthewb57 for providing me with free hosting. When more packages are ready I will package them up and use the free file hosting from him. Makes it all quicker. Please give THANKS to "matthewb57" whenever you see a post by him, for providing this hosting!

There are 2 packages now. Look at the dates for the latest.

Hey cflynt, thanks for maintaining the FAQ; it's very very helpful. Is there anyway you can bold the questions to make it easy for people to identify the questions? Thanks!!!

As requested!

Do keep in mind guys, I didn't have anything to do with this patch. It was the developers that came up with the fix. And one developer in particular came up with the final fix, bzo, he deserves the credit. I just put it together for you guys to test so we could make sure things are definitely working for everyone. Glad to hear you like it. I just don't want to take the credit for something I didn't do! :)

Maybe the reason why some people phone charge and others don't is because maybe the auto backlight prevents the phone from charging. Just a theory. I am going to test it out and report back what I find out.

For reference: I never touch my backlight settings aside from the brightness. (Have to. Energy rom)

Oh, and in android, my screen is completely blacked out in suspend as well. Green light on when screen off. (No light in a dark room) Just FYI

What do you mean it worked for you? Are you hearing sound when playing music, etc. Or merely that your heard this hiss/pops until after hanging up speakerphone after which you heard no more sound at all?

No ringers or music just no more hissing after hanging up

NO charging here....no improvement since mar 8th or so...
infact with the latest kernal, everything is alot worse, sensitivty especially, running alot slower now, and way more force closes going on. For me atleast....pretty sure I did everything correctly as IM not new to this
Ive tried every combo to get charging to work, on my USCC TP2. nothing........and Still no data (but I expected that....

My only ? since we know data is not finished, is anyone working on it still? Only half people have data, to me that says not working... just a thought
