And for the record, I bought my wife a Moment for her birthday today and HOLY SH** is all I have to say, that thing smokes the speed of a TP2. I was playing with it earlier , nice nice device..not to get off topic but Android runs like a champ on it. I don't think I am going to root it though, too much of a PITA for a phone thats not mine lol.

I was able to get mine to charge from the Home++ interface. Could somebody else try it to confirm? When I was in windows mobile battery was at 75% I fell a sleep woke up and resetted my phone to windows mobile and my phone was at 100%. My phone was hot too so I know my phone was charging. Try it out and use the home++ interface. It was also connected to my laptop if that makes a difference. Please thank me if it works for you.

Has anybody tried this yet. Please try it out and post your comment and let me know if it works or not.

Charging works for me.

While phone was at 70% charge, I plugged in to laptop, run Haret. While booting up the laptop showed 'smartphone' is connected, but couldn't install the drivers.
Played with andriod for 30 mins, reboot into windows, removed the cable, now, WM shows 90% charge.

I was on the regular Home screen on android(not the Home++).

I know, neither have I. That's why I was surprised that it was charging. If you want, I could try snapping some screen shots of the batt monitor screen with the time and the voltage over a period of five minutes. Thats about the only way I could show you. I'm not the only one. Maybe this is a selection of phones and not "all of them" depending on hardware version/build date?

Another warning/observation. Speakerphone will work with the command line and all, but trying to change ringtones or load a music file, you'll end up with com.android.media or com.android.music is not responding. Still nothing more than enabling speakerphone it seems.

I've compiled my own kernel based of the git source and latest android source I could grab. Still no charging or sound etc.

I don't know enough to know what to change or enough about code to write it, though some of it I understand.

Looking at my RHOD500 logcat, looks like sound is trying to use some MSM72XX driver/chip. Some kind of keystore can't access the folder for it because permissions issues (I believe this is rootfs issue not kernel). Battery can't get kernel wake lock stats for charging or battery info.

I'd love to help but I am at a loss as to what and how :/

its better than some of the reviews I read, it was a toss up between the hero and the moment.

I had the Hero, and it was sluggish at times, but I liked it. I would love to get rid of my TP2 for a Moment right now, but I'm holding out for the Supersonic.

Not to break to random adnroid vs. android war, but just for reference...

Current command line switches for startup.txt:

Enable Hardward 3d - hw3d.force=1
Correct G Sensor - gsensor_axis=2,1,3
Enable Speaker Phone - external.rhod_speaker=1
Enable Proximity Sensor - board-htcrhodium-proximity.on=1
Enable Wake on Proximity Sensor - board-htcrhodium-proximity.wake=1

They're starting to build up so I figured I'd log em for future reference. Not all work with all builds, but newer builds will be able to try these out if you haven't already. Did I miss any?
