slow down back away from the screen, count to 50 and come back. Make sure you have the rootfs thats an attachment in post 1. Make sure you have the startup.txt also that is an attachment in post 1. Follow the directions word for word in the first post and remove your SIM card. Everything needs to be in the root of the SD card.

It will work correctly if you follow the instructions to a T.

People have said it has been charging. I think it depends on where you are charging from and the charger.

I have no idea why charging is working for some and not for others. When I plug my phone in, the driver window pops up asking me to install a driver for "smartphone". Doesn't matter if I leave it open or close it, the phone still charges. Going to try the newest kernel when I get back from the store. Maybe the data.img holds info that needs to be updated in order to use the charging feature? Also, I've always had the battery monitor on when I check this. I uncheck the battery monitor box in advanced task killer too. BRB

I have never seen any indication you can charge in Android because the meter isnt accurate so it thinks its almost fully charged for a few minutes and then will quit charging thinking the battery is full once you provide power to it and I am using the kernel and modules that were posted on Sunday.

I was able to get mine to charge from the Home++ interface. Could somebody else try it to confirm? When I was in windows mobile battery was at 75% I fell a sleep woke up and resetted my phone to windows mobile and my phone was at 100%. My phone was hot too so I know my phone was charging. Try it out and use the home++ interface. It was also connected to my laptop if that makes a difference. Please thank me if it works for you.

Did you guys notice this comment next to the latest kernel?

"external.rhod_speaker=1 option <- Works, speaker pops and hisses, as expected."

I tried the option noted above and heard the speaker "pops and hisses".

This is just an observation, nothing more.

I know, neither have I. That's why I was surprised that it was charging. If you want, I could try snapping some screen shots of the batt monitor screen with the time and the voltage over a period of five minutes. Thats about the only way I could show you. I'm not the only one. Maybe this is a selection of phones and not "all of them" depending on hardware version/build date?

Another warning/observation. Speakerphone will work with the command line and all, but trying to change ringtones or load a music file, you'll end up with com.android.media or com.android.music is not responding. Still nothing more than enabling speakerphone it seems.
