If by soft reset, you mean turning off the phone from within Android, then NO, not at this point.. when you run haret, you are unloading Windows and starting up Android so Windows is no longer around.

If you mean pressing the reset button, then, YES, that is not needed.. you simply turn off the phone from the Android menu.. press and hold the right Phone key and select turn off phone.

I may have to remove my last post.

After setting this up, I can't load anything on the WM6.5.

I guess it could be not enough ram. I loaded them on the device and not on the card.

I'll see if anything else can be done.

I have MightyROM with S2U2 and other stuff.

Anybody else with this problem??

Bill,

Bill,

On the card you need at least 512MB free, so the internal memory may be full. You may have to do a hard reset unless someone else has a better solution.

I have plenty.

It wouldn't even let me soft reset. Had to RNR battery.

Hopefully that was an anomaly and won't happen again.

I am sure there was a good reason Caulkin did what he did.

These programs are very ROM/RAM intensive.

Peace.

Bill

There is not enough internal memory to expand files or create the data file. This project must be installed on a flash card and best if 1GB or larger. The reason for Caulkin's build is so it will boot faster to launch Haret.

Anyone else having issue getting the phone to go into stand by with the hardware button? Mine seems to have stopped... (no, it's not the power management issue - phone end button does nothing on single press).

Heres something interesting...I installed the last kernal yesterday...since then it has shown the battery indicator on top as charging(with the lightning bolt) but only for the first 2 minutes after booting...has anyone else got this? My battery was almost dead and I was charging it when I booted android..when android booted the battery showed 29% and was actually charging(i think) after 2 minutes it shot to 100% and stopped charging...Just wondering if anyone else is getting this...thanks

True dat!

Sometimes the opinions fly and tempers flare up in here. But usually things get resolved quickly.

...and then there's the endless stream of repeated n00b questions...

I think if people just read the FIRST 3 posts (don't need to read any farther than that) it would probably eliminate about 75% of this thread...

Also the endless speculations that they think a new update is coming very soon...lol.
