...or if you don't want to actually log in (which you really shouldn't unless you have something worthwhile to add to the discussion there), you can use this link instead to just read the the chat without actually signing in:

http://irclog.netripper.com/?chan=htc-linux

Note to all:

Remember, doing a Ctrl+F search in the IRC logs for the word "sound" and coming up with 50 results in a day doesn't mean you need to get all excited and start adding comments in here like "dude, I bet sound is coming tonight cuz they're talking about it like crazy in the IRC channel lol..."

Do a Ctrl+F search for the same word a month ago and you'll likely come up with just as many results. Keep in mind that this is all still a work in progress, so be careful and try not to read into what goes on in there too much. Exercise true patience and self-control. The handful of devs that are working on this are essentially trying to replicate what an entire team of Google and Android, Inc. full-time paid programmers had years to do. So it's going to take some time. And now that MrPippy got us on the same page as the GSM builds, things are going to progress much slower now

Ok, finally got my TP2 to dual boot.

I'm annoyed about this sound thing...because I (like many others) would love to just leave Android running.

I am able to access my calendar and email (GCal and Gmail) however, the contact sync was only for about half the contacts that is in my google contacts. (is this common, or am I doing something wrong?)

Am seeing a few force close notifications (have read that its a known issue...but wanted to report anyway.

Looking forward to next build release...would like to eventually just run Android (clean) on my TP2.

Occasionally my contacts dont sync on WM and I have to manually active sync again. Maybe you need to manually for a sync in Android for your contacts to all come through. It may have been interrupted the first time.
