Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2

Update for anyone on Verizon. Data and SMS both work. I have not tested calling yet but I am working so I cant right now. I can browse the web and send text messages back and fourth. I also added my gmail account to email and that works as well. If you want me to check anything else let me know. also checking google maps right now

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2

Have any of you guys seen a similar issue to this:

After launching Haret.exe the following error is displayed, "Something used micropklt_lcd_ctrl. This function should no longer be used." This error is displayed repeatly until the device crashes.

If so, could you let me know if you found a work-around?

I've tried five different SD cards ranging from 2gb to 8gb. The only build I've been able to successfully launch was the one released on 1/25/09. Thanks again in advance for your help.

Google maps isn't picking up my location. I upgraded to 4.0 though the Market but that didn't make a difference.

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2

Everything seems to work; however, when I tried download apps under Market, it queues them up and I kept getting a status of "downloading" but it never downloads
Anyone with this issue?

EDIT: Nevermind, after I restart my TP2, those apps are downloaded and installed!

My location is picked up fine, within 70 Meters it says but it's pretty much only about 10ft off of where I'm sitting in my office..

Notice, I'm not sitting in Granchinwackenhut or wherever we were at before lol..

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2

Pretty solid build. So much smoother than WM. Now if only the speaker works, this would be awesome! Thanks MrPippy!

Those with boot up issue, MAKE SURE YOU LOAD EVERYTHING at the root of your MicroSD card; do not place them in any folder; Civic's version allows for that but not this one.

Just like to announce that I think everyone who's trying this should thank all those who are offering their genius to us and helping us do this... Even if you haven't quite got it down yet, everyone in here is still doing all they can to help you, so just take a few minutes to go through the thread and click to whoever it was that helped you with something, especially Mr. Pippy in post #1...

This is moving along now pretty good an with a little help here and a little help there we're gonna be droid'ers in no time thanks to all this outstanding help...
