I installed and ran this last night, awesome job, very snappy. One word of advice don't play the robodef game. That game is so addictive that I started playing at 12 last night and didnt stop till 5 in the morning.

Re: [1/25/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]
Is anyone else having issues when running this android build (1/25)?
When running it, Android will stop working and I get a message saying something like a process is not responding. If I tap on wait, then it does eventually come back but it takes around a minute or two to come back. Could it be due to the memory card I'm using? It's a class 4 8gb Kingston? Otherwise I can't thank you enough Civic for your work on this. Absolutely awesome work. |

I think these ports rely heavily on the class on the micro sd. For those who don't know about class (I think every one does though??) the higher the class the better because it means more amounts of info being transferred per second. Used a class 2 8gb to run, took roughly 10-15 minutes on first boot. Considering it took that long, I dropped $20 on amazon and bought a class 6. I'll report back if it's faster...meanwhile waiting for it to come and hopefully when it does, CDMA's data would be working. For those interested, here's the link I bought the micro sd from (make sure you nab one of the special promotions! who minds free stuff??) http://www.amazon.com/Transcend-Clas...223542&sr=1-15 |
