Thanks for the work thus far Civic! If you get Data to work I'll definitley be donating.
Any word on getting sound to work? Also I opened the game Uno on the current build and I could not get out of it(close the game). Is this something to do with the game or the Android build? Just a heads up. |

That particular build is very light on the WinMo side as I understand it. It is really just meant for Android use. And, at this point I would assume it would be mainly for Android development. The post states that the WinMo side is mainly drivers and sys and is almost completely unusable.
Here's a quote from NRGZ28 about that partiular ROM: "Do not download this ROM to use as a regular Windows phone. It has NOTHING in it but drivers and 21889. It's almost useless, for anything but booting android." Last edited by skeptikal; 02-03-2010 at 05:08 PM. |

Yeah. In reality it is not even an actual dual boot like you think of a pc/linux dual boot or mac/win7 dual boot. It is actually just an autoloader for Android. It basically loads windows mobile and then quickly starts haret.exe. In some cases it probably does it seamlessly but with mine actually shows my windows ROM and then launches haret. I'm using Blackout ROM which is Winmo 6.1 with manila 2.51922.... It is still really cool to be able to select which OS you would like to load and it is possible to autoload either one. however I recommend not auto loading Android in the state that it is in. At any rate, any ROM & civic's android build on the root of your sdcard with the genY dual boot cab installed should work... I agree. Should definitely get sticky in here...Hopefully the mods agree as well.... Last edited by skeptikal; 02-03-2010 at 05:47 PM. |

Re: [1/25/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]
ok, so i got that answered, thank you. Next two questions, does anyone know how to make a shortcut for haret in my programs list? and does anyone know how to back up app data so I can save my robo defense progress when a new release gets put out? I have done searches and it looks like you can just grab the app from the applications directory, but I never really saw a definitive answer, so I though I would ask you guys.
