i am on verizon and just tried the new build. i did absolutely nothing in setting up a network. the initial set up started and all i did was set the time zone then exited out of it. booted into home++, then i simply dialed my home phone number and it worked. the mic worked and the speaker did not, but that is to be expected.

this runs very smoothly, love the extra ram. the only thing i noticed is that to turn the lock screen on you have to hit the end button, rather than the top sleep button, which does nothing. but at least the back light turns off now! also noticed the led turns green when locked then turns back to orange when unlocked...kinda weird...i'd rather it stay off.

thanks civic for posting this and thanks to all who helped make this build

There's actually some value to that -- I'm pretty sure they set it up so that when power collapse was functioning, the light would go green (green for good), and when it wasn't, it'd be yellow. So if you're not seeing the green light when the phone is asleep, beware: your battery will not last.

oh well then, that is cool, haha. i am really impressed with this build. i was really considering getting the nexus one when it hit verizon but now with the progress being made i would much rather keep my tp2.

i know this has been mentioned before but when answering a call its next to impossible, at least for me, to slide the answer tab. i tap and hold, it vibrates, slides like a quarter inch then loses recognition that i was sliding it. was there any fix for this? guess its pointless currently as we don't have speaker fully working, but just curious since other than that it is very accurate and responsive to my touch. lock screen works great too which puzzles me, don't see why the call answering wouldn't, but then again i am no programmer...

EDIT: any way to map the sleep function to the top sleep button on the tp2?
