The features that they are fixing such as screen calibration, hardware integration that is non radio related, things such as that.

Is there a reason why we can't implement the things that the GSM guys are doing that involve the hardware like the keyboard rotation, etc. that are not related to the radio just by using portions of the build they have already fixed?

There is no reason why we cannot (theoretically). We're just missing some cdma-specific changes from 95-Civic that haven't gotten pushed upstream. That should be a minor hurdle. Unfortunately, 95-Civic seems pretty slammed, and unable to get those changes to anyone at the moment, so either it'll have to wait, or someone else will have to figure out and redo said changes.

What, specifically, is working on his build that isn't working on the autobuild?

the buttons seem to be mapped better but other than that, i didn't notice any difference between this build at the one Ego posted a month earlier.

Hey everyone! I just implemented all of the new patches into my current build. Many many new enhancements from the current repository. Still no wifi, data or BT, but some great UI and other hardware updates. Special thanks to phhusson, mrpippy and the rest of the GSM guys for their constant changes! I am in the process of uploading files now; will post a link shortly.

Makkonen,
PM me your email address, I'll put a few things together and send them your way to upload to the repository.
