That's a known issue. A commit was just pushed that changes power off to a reset function, which apparently does work.

I just tried to run off that zImage / modules.tar (it's GSM, but I was just trying for proof-of-concept on wifi, not expecting phone to work), but no dice. I'm a linux guy, but most of this android stuff is over my head, so...

Yup, I'll be pushing the rootfs changes within the next few minutes, and once the rootfs autobuild runs everyone can try it out :headbang:

You may know this already, but I thought I'd throw it out for reference. It is on one of the first posts, but not super clear.

*while still in WinMo, call voicemail, don't hangup, just let it run. I put mine on speakerphone, but I don't think that is a must.
*while you are still in the middle of the call, boot haret and let everything load, don't try to hang up, just leave the call running.
*Android eventually disconnects the call, and when it boots up fully you should have mic and speaker working.

I'm assuming then we can just get the latest zimage from there (http://glemsom.anapnea.net/android/htc-msm-android/) and just replace the one from this thread (making sure the startup.txt points to it)?

Awesome! I'll add the driver and updates into my current build so that we will have working phone and wifi!

I can hear the other person talking when I make a call but I can't hear music playing...
Is this an issue or is it something I'm doing wrong

Will you also be adding the reset function that Makkonen brought up?
