That is a very valid point... btw my hardware keyboard light doesnt work on this build.

I'm on Sprint and the keyboard mapping is a little off as well. Again, little things that I am sure that will be worked out. My arrow keys don't function like they should as well as the \ / and : ; being reversed. But that is just due to the differences in Sprint/Verizon/ATT. So I am sure it might even be something in startup.txt, currently mapped to rhod210, not sure if there is a mapping for rhod400 etc. Will try.

Hero is running the 2.1 based off of the Eris release, of course it is tweaked and all, the version I am running everything but camera is working. Also has an aggressive Kernel for memory allocation and SETCpu to keep it running how I want.

Don't get me started on phones, I didn't mention the Pre that doesn't get used or any of my other past goodies that are relegated to "the drawer" LOL!

Did you try pulling the battery and starting again? Also try removing the microSD card when you power up.

I know there's a way to hard-reset using the combo buttons (simulatenously press and hold the Send and End keys while pressing the Power button) but that will wipe your our data... Maybe someone else can help him with this.

Somebody will mapp the rhod400,rhod500 keyboards for us. The same way someone mapp/wrote the keyboard mapp for rhod210. Those GSM boys they was hustling 8 months before the CDMA crews got started.
