Forgive my noobish question, but is running Android on a TP2 like a temporary, dual-boot kinda thing? I like the idea of a dual-boot phone, but I picked the TP2 after screwing around with a friend's Droid specifically because I didn't see the appeal of Android over WinMo.

Your SD card is too slow. It will work but it takes forever with a slower SD card. A class 6 card will load Android in about 60 sec, Class 4 about 4 min, Class 1 about 18min.

Can it be loaded onto system memory to run faster?

You may be asking one of three questions:

1.) Is it currently able to be flashed directly to onboard memory? No, not at the moment.

2.) Will it be able to be flashed directly to onboard memory at some point? Yes, most definitely.

3.) If the os can be flashed to system memory will we see a speed improvement? Some say yes, some say no, personally I believe we will see a vast speed improvement when the os is loaded to system memory.

I think he is asking if instead of putting it on the root of his SD card, or in a folder called Android on the root of his SD card, if he can instead put it in his "My Device" folder or somewhere else on the device itself instead of the SD card, and then just run it from there.

I haven't downloaded it yet so I can't answer that.

No he cannot. It is set to look at the root directory of the SD card. It doesn't know where it was originally launched from, it only knows to look in the root of the SD. That is why you also cannot put it in another folder on the SD card.

hum.. I put the extracted files on a folder called "Andriod" under storage card, and it works(just like it was when I put it under root)..
