Re: Android, it's alive!.. (2.0.1) - Updated 12/24
Forgive my noobish question, but is running Android on a TP2 like a temporary, dual-boot kinda thing? I like the idea of a dual-boot phone, but I picked the TP2 after screwing around with a friend's Droid specifically because I didn't see the appeal of Android over WinMo.

Your SD card is too slow. It will work but it takes forever with a slower SD card. A class 6 card will load Android in about 60 sec, Class 4 about 4 min, Class 1 about 18min. |

Re: Android, it's alive!.. (2.0.1) - Updated 12/24
You may be asking one of three questions:
1.) Is it currently able to be flashed directly to onboard memory? No, not at the moment. 2.) Will it be able to be flashed directly to onboard memory at some point? Yes, most definitely. 3.) If the os can be flashed to system memory will we see a speed improvement? Some say yes, some say no, personally I believe we will see a vast speed improvement when the os is loaded to system memory. |
