I have cdma, Verizon in the usa, android says im using a carrier i have never herd of, i can make calls, but cant connect to internet or send texts. im assuming its only using the gsm card that's in the phone, anyone know how do i get it to use the Verizon network?

It is using the vzw network for your voice calls, you can even dial *228 for programming and it will program your phone... doesn't do anything though. You are seeing "Green Service Vodaphone NL" in Android most likely.
From what I can tell is that the Android OS doesn't have the ability right now for us to define the SMS service center phone number that is used on a CDMA network to send SMS.
