New LK
CWM Recovery

OMGB 1.2.2 off of NAND

really, really exciting

Now to find some stuff to report.

Thank you oh so much for this ... you don't really know how much this means to a legacy SERO dude, who can't imagine letting go of SERO.

Best regards,

As much as i love cwm, its missing the offmode charging. So use the old recovery for now until offmode charging is on cwm. :-) just some advice before you find yourself with a dead batt.

usually i do a full cache/data wipe from recovery before every install. You need to make sure the old data is wiped, so use the recovery.

BT looks like its not working for audio routing but it is working for simple things like file transfers. So until i get a headset i wont work on this.

Electron beam ? really i spend days actually making this thing even rumnable and no one likes it ? lol. Disable it if yall hate it.

Looks like ICS is out aosp, so i'm going to update our code to 2.3.7 sooner than later. Also keep in mind not much has changed from the old version except gps, electron beam and Lighsensor values. So keep that in mind when you guys troubleshoot.

One last thing, im posting on XDA to expand our audience so yall are welcomed to help me answer questions there as well. Looks like veryone likes the new LK, so that testing version is here to stay.

Not that i dont like fancy animations just under the impression that it hinders performance...correct me if im wrong.

its actually just a function that is called when the panel is being turned off. So yes, it will obviously delay your screen off time by about 1 second. The whole animation is about 16 frames and we put out 20ftps tops so you can do the math. +/- time to do the math.

But this does not really consume any more cpu since its only called during panel down. I think disabling the animations will probably be faster overall. It will not only disable the electtron but other animations around the ui

I almost wish I could disable the other animations but keep the electron beam...

But with a few performance tweaks, I don't mind the other animations.

Is there anyway to make you LK be like HBOOT? Boot into options like say
1 fastboot
2 recovery
3 boot (normal boot)
4 charge (battery charge only mode)

Giving CWM a run and for some reason, I can't seem to get GAPPS.zip to apply.

Apologies for being so vague and thanks for jumping in ... I may be into some serious goofiness at this point. I can't get the RomUpdateUtility (Task29 or Stock Sprint NBH) or flash from SD card (LK NBH) to get past 0%.

I've been cooking WM of various builds since 2007 so this is pretty basic stuff, but awfully weird that it would happen now.

Best regards,

I'd never be offended ... :D

Battery was full when starting ... that is one of my worries; trying to troubleshoot and resolve this will drain my battery and then I will truly be out of luck.
