*sigh* Spoke too soon. While it did boot a few times, stability is definitely decreased significantly. I've had lockups and failure to boots that went away immediately with the SIM removed.

I have been getting ridiculous amounts of failed wakes since I updated to the new LK and OMGB. Is everyone else having the same problem? And when I get the failed wake, it just stays like that, and pretty much freezes the phone.

Re: [TESTING] - OMGB - 1.2.2{2.3.5} - 400/500 Only

Yesterday evening, I finally took the plunge to get OMGB running of my TP2 NAND.

I had a very difficult time and eventually had to stop after four hours, because I needed to get some sleep.

  1. Task 29
  2. Flash LK via SD CARD.
  3. I added the USB drivers to my desktop (windows 7 64bit).
  4. The phone boots into LK (blue screen).
  5. Reboot while connected to desktop USB and my PC recognizes the device.
  6. I flash the img file via fastboot and both on the command line of my desktop and in the blue screen of the TP2, flashing the img file seems to progress and successfully complete.
  7. fastboot reboot
  8. hold power button
then it says
Code:

Boot reason: reset
calling apps_init()
Boot reason: reset
flash_read misc partition
flash read: misc 800 800
flash_read_image: failed (191 errors)
ERROR: Cannnot read recovery header
flash read: boot 0 800
flash_read_image: failed (2048 errors)
ERROR: Cannot read boot image header
ERROR: Could not do normal boot. Reverting to fastboot
htcrhodium_usb_enable
USB init ept @ 0x1c4000
USB ID 0042fa05
fastboot_init()
udc_start()

I did Task 29 at least five times.
I flashed LK via SD card over and over.
I applied img file via fastboot many times.

All appeared successful, and yet, I cannot boot into recovery.

What might be the culprit?

I did recall this AM that I neglected to remove my SIM card. Could these results be due to the fact that I left my SIM card in the phone?

Best regards,
-boggsie

Dont know if this helps but i press power button as soon as i see "acl pooploader" and release as soon as i see "power key pressed" i know acl mentioned it before. Or use this after flashing img via fastboot command "fastboot boot recovery.img"

I agree this version seems sluggish! Compared to the previous one.

Wait, so camera works, and bluetooth at least basics for audio calls seem to work? I can help test bluetooth with omgb. I have, 3 headsets, 3 stereo headsets (work as a regular headset, but can do stereo audio with headphones), DECT phone with that feature where your home phone rings if your cell does, 2 BT GPS receivers to test RS-232, 2 BT printers and then of course file transfers, OBEX, etc with my laptop. I think that covers most of the BT profiles:)

was testing the latest build.

The WifiHotspot works! out of the box. But it was so slow that i couldnt even do speedtest from speedtest.net
Might be stuck in 1x?

The same Haret bug still exist, where if u turnoff wifihotspot, the phone hangs.

The panel just seems to be very uncooperative.

You might want to task 29 and start from scratch, again no panel issues for me as of yet, sluggish but thats it

Edit: if your overclocked and use setcpu try another oc app, i just started using overclockwidget. Different settings i underclock when screen off (use 245 or whatever value)and overclock when screen on( 748)
