Re: [BUILD] **Complete FroYo Bundle** FRX07.1 - Maintenance Release

I remember the home button also being a task switcher in earlier builds..

is there a button on this build for the task switcher?

Re: [BUILD] **Complete FroYo Bundle** FRX07.1 - Maintenance Release

I dont know if this helpped, but that data.img I posted a while back seems to be working well. I created it in the ex3 format and I've heard that real android phones work better with that type of format? Or maybe I'm just imagining it lol but my android works smoothly. Or maybe it's just starting fresh with new data.img so old things didnt carry over from last builds.

I did switch to ADW launcher and seems to speed things along if people want to try it. I felt it was on par with the default launcher but prettier

Re: [BUILD] **Complete FroYo Bundle** FRX07.1 - Maintenance Release

thanks for the link, read through it and I'm giving sd booster a shot. In the past I've tried setcpu in hopes i could underclock it when screen was off to improve battery life, didnt seem to work (just mentioning it as snake oil)

Didnt see anything about the ex3 format of data.img in there though, but i feel like it did help a bit. If anyone wants to give it a shot :S though I have no idea if the default data.img that android creates is ex3 or not. I just had the same data.img from a couple releases ago so that may have been the problem

Default uses ext2. ext3 seems like it would be useless on an SD card. nilfs seems like a good idea, if it was only more mature... the whole snapshot cleanup was annoying.

Re: [BUILD] **Complete FroYo Bundle** FRX07.1 - Maintenance Release

trying this for the first time. everything seemed to work fine.. but everytime I try to load the google homepage, it loads right to the very end and then forces reboot. Anyone else come across this before. Any help is much appreciated. I've tried, deleted the data.img multiple times, as well as tried two different cards that I reformated with the SDformatter tool. I did remove the sim card before starting.
