I was able to login, but I have no one to talk to on it (someone said they couldn't login a while back, so I tested that successfully).

From those who have gotten it to work, it seems the voice quality is not even close to 'good enough'. Good luck!

Re: [BUILD] **Complete FroYo Bundle** FRX07!!

Thanks. A couple more Qs...

1) Is there a way to have the device lock timeout separate from screen timeout ? I did a search and this setting seem to only exist on some devices and not the others. I did find a program that claims it can do that but it's only supported in a paid version. I tried pattern locking but it's fairly useless since it doesn't support running finger over same dots twice (like in Throttle Lock) so brute-forcing the pattern would be easy.

2) What top free apps would you recommend specifically for Android on TP2 ?

Seems to be an issue with WinMo. Is there some WinMo app that will sync the time? I've never had this issue, I think my phone receives time from the carrier, and I can't seem to change that behavior (which is fine by me!)

Perhaps there's some setting to force it to pull from the carrier? I know I didn't setup anything special here. I don't really use WinMo at all anymore, sorry.

Edit /data/eri.xml IIRC.
/data/eri.xml probably doesn't exist so you'd have to create a valid eri xml file and place it there, the instructions for that are in the RIL thread.

I thought it had to exist, and it's hard-coded now... I haven't really looked into it, I kinda like the provider showing XDAndroid .

The version of the file in /data/ is an override of one compiled into one of the .apks, it's totally optional, I assume xdandroid was added in the main file that is compiled rather than a hacky echo or copy into /data/

Ah. I guess I should just say you can't change the network name .

Why would you want to?
