Re: [BUILD] **Complete FroYo Bundle** FRX07!!
Just finished Dling it, waiting on the green robots to finish their dance.
BTW major props to all the devs who worked on this and the hard working slobs who put it all together. One question though was scbs ( battery reading from jonpry) added to this? EDIT := i think u have the MCC and NMC switched when i tired to put it the way you have it , android gives an eror that MCC must be 3 digits so switched them around also i think u also have to add #777 for the APN ( im sure u already did that but its for newbs like me who might not remember / know about it) Carrier-specific Settings Carrier MNC MCC MMSC Sprint 310 00 http://mms.sprintpcs.com/servlets/mms

Re: [BUILD] **Complete FroYo Bundle** FRX07!!
OK, I got it to boot to Android, but can't do anything in Android. The touch screen doesn't properly recognize my touch commands. I can't even slide the on-screen unlock button. I do manage to open a few menus by pressing hard buttons, but nothing I press in the menus is recognized. I was able to get the oncreen keyboard open with a Google search field, but the keys I press are way off -- touching in the far lower-right corner yields a "q" and that's about it. The hard keyboard works properly and displays the characters I press.
So it seems like a calibration problem, but I can't figure out how to open the calibration utility. Anyone else encounter this problem and/or know how to correct it? Thanks. |

However, if you update to the newest kernel this has been 'fixed'. AFAIK it's now the default to let userland (Android) take over notifications on the LED, rather than indicating sleep state. Let me know if the newest kernel doesn't fix that for you, there *might* be some changes needed in the user.conf. Quote:
This is the reason I do not think pre-making a build with the acoustic stuff in is a bad idea. There are only a handful of .27 kernels that support the acoustic code, and the .35/.39 kernels require sacrifices like wifi and BT... Can't remember what else off the top of my head. So really, that stuff is more for the experimental types. Again, all the code is out there for you and can be implemented into FRX07 with the same pain it was in 06 ![]() |

From what others have reported, and from what I experience "light" usage can easily make it thru the whole day. Moderate to heavy... well most native Android devices can't handle a full day of that, so I wouldn't expect our poor old phones to do any better. Either way, I'd make your own judgement. Everyone's level of tolerance is different, and obviously everyone's environment/setup is different as well. Whose to say my usage is light or yours is heavy? We could both use the phone the same amount of time, who knows. It's all perception. |

Re: [BUILD] **Complete FroYo Bundle** FRX07.1 - Maintenance Release
currently using this build.
doesn't feel as smooth, but its better than not having andriod. Battery seems fair, much much better than the previous builds. (i notice the LED no longer stay on which is very helpful in saving battery) Is there a way to change the XDAndriod when you drag down the top tool bar? hope to see GB sometime, as its much more user friendly IMO. Nice work keep it up, this gives "us" no everything plans something to play with. |
