Just delete it when ur in winmo. Go to wherever haret is located and delete the data.img. when u reboot to android it will generate a brand new data.img.

I'm not aware of anyone else experiencing this issue, so perhaps a format and fresh start is in order? Not sure what to suggest at this point.

Re: [BUILD] **Complete Froyo Bundle!!** FRX06 - "Stable" - Minor Fixes

Any recent updates? The first post in this thread still shows the last update as March 26.

Or if this is not the right place, please let me know where I can find more timely Android builds for the TP2 CDMA.

Thanks!

The reason the word "stable" is in the title is because arrrghhh doesn't just throw random pieces of untested code in the builds. If you want to be on the bleeding edge you'll need to download and implement them yourself. Only once a feature or improvement is proven to be relatively stable will it get included in an official build of xdandroid or the kernel, and at that time arrrghhh will likely include it here.

I approve of this post .

I post the most 'stable' stuff for everyone - however there is a lot of testing stuff flying around currently. I'm trying to pull all the merge requests and test them, and it seems like stinebd has accepted most if not all of them - so we should have some pretty big updates in the pipeline.

I also don't do small incremental updates - sorry. Not much has changed in the autobuild-realm of things which is what I make these builds off of. New stuff is in the pipeline, please be patient!

Re: [BUILD] **Complete Froyo Bundle!!** FRX06 - "Stable" - Minor Fixes

Okay, that makes sense.

I just wasn't sure if this was still "the" thread to watch for (stabile) updates. I just read somewhere about how much progress is being made on a daily basis and wanted to get my hands on said progress.

I can be patient. It's just really hard when it's soooo close to being my fulltime OS. If it weren't for the random reboots during inactivity, I'd be fine with the current build.

I don't get any random reboots, although there are many reasons for them - are you getting full reboots to WinMo, or "mini" reboots as I like to call them where you suddenly see the boot animation again?

Neither *should* happen obviously, but the reasons can vary. Reboots to WinMo could be anything from an actual bug in the kernel, to your SD card becoming unavailable and causing the system to reboot - a while back I was getting a lot of these and I found (thru logs) that it was the SD card.

Reboots within Android usually seem to happen to me when the system hangs. For example, if I'm downloading several apps from the Market and if several try to install themselves at the same time, usually that causes the system to freeze up and eventually I just see the flying droids again.

We're working to fix all issues, but obviously there's a lot of factors. A lot of stuff is in testing, if you feel you can help out then jump in. If you want to wait, then no biggie - this thread will get updated when new stuff comes thru the pipeline. Sometimes it just takes a while to integrate code, as we support many, many devices and we have to be sure that all devices work with the new code that gets committed. We're working very hard to prevent regressions, so it takes time. Thanks!

I don't get reboots in WinMo. Only when I've been in Android for a while and put phone away (either pocket or backpack), then after a little while when I go to get my phone, I'll find it back in WinMo. Or sometimes it'll be stuck on the black screen of death (where the screen is black, the backlight is on, but buttons don't do anything). In that case I have to hit the reset button to get back to WinMo and then re-run Haret.

Otherwise the stability does seem to be getting better. I used to get more frequent "soft" resets (animated Android logo), but not so much anymore.

I do appreciate all your (and other's) hard work. I wasn't trying to be a complainer, just wanted to make sure I'm monitoring the right thread to get the latest stuff.

Thanks for the reply.
