I'm not sure the extent of the side effects, but as I understand it the battery code is more or less disabled completely - so I'm sure the battery meter is either not accurate or even not present? so far as for battery, i can get about 13hrs on full charge with moderate usage on GBX0A, 20mins phone calls, about 20sms, an hour net using wifi, 30-40mins on board game and 15-20 photos. i'll plug in to when it 5% (as per Battery Indicator) 6hrs charging at night. with FRX05 i only get about 10hrs. Froyo X Red is almost the same with FRX05.
