Yep, that's how was acting yesterday and some today with the latest kernel. Deep sleep, woke it up, was able to use for a few seconds, then everything seems to stall, and then boom, restart to WinMo.

Is there a way to get ahold of the last kernel package you posted here? This one seems pretty unstable, but the last one never really gave me issues.

thanks

Hrm... that's really unfortunate. I've been using this just fine for the entire weekend. I haven't really changed anything with my setup either...

Really need logs to pinpoint it, and I assume dropbox is still borked - double-check just to make sure.

If not, might have to guide you thru ramconsole - which I failed horribly at, so I'm not the best person to guide you guys thru it probably :p. Need to talk to WisTilt2...

You're missing the point. These kernels are for testing, not stability. Please report instability, and I'll pass it on to WisTilt2 and hopefully he can try to remedy it. Obviously klog being disabled is painful, as I really need logs to give WisTilt2 so he can see what is blowing it up. There's some new battery code in there, but it technically shouldn't be in use until the userland app runs... But perhaps there is something tripping it up.

Are you having the same instability as others above? Your vague response really helps no one, and since you do seem to be missing the point of this thread... perhaps I'm just getting frustrated, sorry.

Arrrghhh, was running the latest kernel without issue until this morning. Tried tossing in my 11 pin usb adaptor to listen to music and when I removed it the freaking phone borked. Rebooted to android sluggish as all hell, just like the other night when running that test for Jonpry, I rebooted ti winmo, it erased every startup.txt to 0B even a spare one hidding in a folder. Rebooted back to android, FC's on system, ADW, etc, back to winmo, back to android and sluggish, can't even get past the flying androids. Back to Winmo now, gonna erase the data.img and see what happens, but only started once I plugged in the 11pin and removed it. Any thoughts, ideas, etc? And yeah, Dropbox is still not grabbing logs.

Bleh...

Might ask you to start over clean, formatted SD card, whole schebang.

You can feel free to backup all your stuffs, but for testing just to make sure you can get a build running again, starting clean might be the best method.

If you want, start with a new data.img, that's basically starting clean from a user perspective.

I don't understand how it could persist after a reboot like that... data.img seems suspect.

/facepalm... ok.. if you go back a few pages I clearly posted the problems I had..

Secondly. How anybody deals with your attitude is beyond me... Nearly every thread you post is filled with some sort of hateful crap and is just completely out of control because you are obviously better than everybody else here.

Between the way you treat everybody, that junk you started with tiad, and your general attitude towards everything not posted by you.. it's a wonder anybody ever listens to your crap.

I just asked for the prior package because it ran well and you act like a complete jerk.

Go get some coffee or something to improve that winning attitude, jerk.

Wow, you're a real winner yourself. Just reviewed your posts - voice command is the only issue you're having? Are you serious?!?

You really make me want to help... Hrm, wait no - you make me not want to help you.

I don't really care what you think of me, if that isn't obvious. If you feel that I started "junk" with tiad8, you really, truly are clueless. Please, move along troll - don't need you here.

Cool story captain attitude & the whole troll thing is pathetically funny.

I was going to start researching all the programming ins and outs of droid on the rhod since I know linux fairly well now after being so impressed with the droid project and learning it.. but I'm just going to pick up a desire today & move on.

You sir are a mean, jerky, ill tempered cancerous tumor in this community and the fact you're even still here & treating the newer members like you do holds it back in so many ways it's stupid.

Have fun chasing off the rest of your community mr. I'm better than everybody else.

Oh...I hear paxil helps with those tude problems you have.. check into it please for the sake of everybody here.
