Bad service area? hyc said that when he disables data these disappear, literally.

Not a solution, but a crappy 'workaround'. We're working on a solution ;).

Quick question, has the issue with the screen not turning on immediately been fixed yet? I haven't updated in about a month but i just noticed something. I recently changed my lock screen from the default to using a lock pattern and now the screen turns on immediately every time. Not sure if this info is of any use but I wanted to throw it out there just in case... keep up the good work!

Someone else told me this... I don't see how the lock screen could fix vsync issues.

You say you haven't updated in a month? What kernel are you on...?

This makes sense. I noticed it more happening to me when the phone is in my pocket and I'm traveling around.

When I'm attempting to create a failed wake (on/off/on/off/on/off...) I can't, wake is very fast every time. When I left it sitting for a few minutes, picked it up and turned it on, failed wake. I've only gotten one so far which is definitely better though.

Wooohoooo! Here we go! Got a bunch of sods this morning, wondering if its related to having still had the airave on. Also tried installing adb on my vista laptop, can't get it to connect but ill work on that later. Is logging capable on this one now?

Nope, pretty sure that's still borked.

Thanks arrrghhh. Testing it now, will let you know how everything went tonight; I've been having better luck with the 3/1 test kernel; 3g data enabled all day the last couple days, no Sod except for a few restarts to winmo.

Thanks for the update!

I have it running on a rhod 400 with no sod's, seems to boot alot faster and it has been insta waking when I hit the button .

Something else I noticed.. I brought my overclock down from 700000 to 600000 and the phone has no noticeable decrease in speed. Maybe it's just a placebo effect, but this kernel is the best I've used so far.

\\:D/

*update*
My friend with an actual droid phone called me a jerk because my tp2/frxo5 phone runs better than hers does :D lol

Note that when you overclock, it doesn't mean that it will always be at that overclocked speed; it will throttle between 122mhz and the OC speed, deeping on the work load; this is done on purpose for improving battery life, like a laptop. So if you OC to 600 or 700 mhz, chances are it can operate at 480mhz 50% of the times and you won't notice any difference between the 2 OC speeds. There's a utility called setcpu that allows you to have more control of this "throttling" or "scaling" action; you can find it somewhere on Xda for free; or pay $2 to get it on the market. For example if I use setcpu to set it to use a "performance" profile, I can force the cpu to operate at 700mhz all the time and actually get a score of 630 using quadrant. Then again, leaving it like this will kill my battery life quickly.
