I'm gonna give that a shot, I actually just started to set up the package you put together and rather than set up every app again with Titanium backup, I'll just try tossing the data.img in there. thanks! BTW, angry birds lite or full version?

To tell you the truth, I'm not sure; it was the version that tiad8 posted last time; it's a patched version 1.3.5 or something like that. If you use the bundle I posted, go to the frx05/AndroidApps/Games directory; it's there

Edit: darn stuck backspace key: happened to me a few times and wiped my whole message. I'm afraid to press and hold down the backspace key now cuz I lost many a post compositions to it :(

Re: [TESTING] Updated 3/1/11 New Kernel - Up-to-date w/Autobuild!

Been using this kernel with FRX05 and both have been working amazingly! Great battery life and few problems. I occasionally have a failed wake, but rarely. I did notice that failed wakes happen more often when the device is busy i.e. installing something. No SODs so far.

Sometimes I notice the device wont go into stage 2 sleep (solid green) for a while sometimes. I run a task killer to kill 3rd party apps and it seems to fix the problem.

Great work!

Arrrghhh, any word on how we can continue to get logs to you and wistilt on the latest kernel? Battery died last night, charged again this morning, changed to F22's latest rootfs and restarted android. booted fine, let it settle down and as soon as the solid green light came on couldn't get it started again, rebooted back to winmo and back to android and still no logs.

I reverted back to the 2.28 kernel as I was getting too many restarts (about 2 per day). This is on Tiad's Froyo Red X updated system. 3.1 and 2.28 kernel along with frx05 was giving me restarts as well. 2.28 and redx are almost rock solid, no restarts or sod (yes occasional wake issues).

Arrrghhh, could you post the various ways to pull crash logs. I know you had them up on the OP previously, I just can't remember.. when you have time of course :)

Unfortunately he's been gone for a few days, hoping to talk to him tonight. Current kernel still seems to be missing the historical logs, sorry.

You've heard the SoD problem is almost certainly data related right? Doesn't seem to be just bad service, but specifically going between 3g and 2g zones are causing the issue - hence the reason old airaves cause such issues, as they only support 2g data. So disable data, and your SoD problems are likely to disappear... but who wants to disable data, that's no fun :p.

FRX05 hasn't reset on me yet, so it's something with your setup. There are many, many reasons for reboots to WinMo, the top culprit probably being a bad SD card. I want feedback on the newest kernels, saying you reverted to an old kernel doesn't really help me much. Also, I can't really help with tiad8's mess.

/data/system/dropbox. That's the historical logs that would only be necessary to get info from a reboot or SoD condition.

I'll give frx05 another shot, and post any logs. Do you mean the packaged kernel hasn't rebooted on you or the 3.1 test kernel?

I'm assuming by 'packaged kernel' you mean from autobuild. I don't typically run autobuild kernel, unless someone specifically asks me to try something on the autobuild.

Like I said, there's many many reasons for reboots to WinMo. We probably haven't found them all, but SD cards are a big culprit. There's others, but like I said there is many reasons...

Quick question, has the issue with the screen not turning on immediately been fixed yet? I haven't updated in about a month but i just noticed something. I recently changed my lock screen from the default to using a lock pattern and now the screen turns on immediately every time. Not sure if this info is of any use but I wanted to throw it out there just in case... keep up the good work!

I had 5 green SODs today out of the blue. Switching to 1276 kernel to see what happens. I'll report back later!
