No, don't think so. Just talked to WisTilt2, and I'm a liar. He missed something else, and logging is still disabled in this kernel. He said he'd have a new one for me tomorrow.

Just to note - I am on vaca, so I might not be as attentive as I usually am ;).

Oh, and I've noticed issues where it doesn't sleep so quickly... I haven't been able to track it down tho. I'll pass it on to WisTilt2. Seems some flag gets flipped, and instead of sleeping ASAP, it waits 30s to sleep. We'll figure it out, WisTilt2 said he also has some theories on smashing the failed wake bug once and for all.

As for SoD's, seems those are all now pointing to RIL... which sucks. But hopefully WisTilt2's radio programmer can work some magic on it!

Mine seems to sleep after about that time..rarely is it instant. Hmmm. still a fine kernel of course :)

2/26 update working good here; 16 hrs without any reboot or SOD; for the most part, mine wakes up from sleep right away; once in a while, I need to press power a few times; I no longer have the almost-sod in which I have to do a ton of power button presses and kb-sliding out to wake it up (30-45 seconds later). Mine also sleeps right away msot of the times; once in a while it blinks a few times before going into solid green. I wonder if you guys have lots of background threads running and it takes some time for the kernel to put those threads into "proper" suspend mode.

How would I know if I had those threads running? Manage applications and check running services..?

I'm just guessing. Do you have a lot of apps running? Maybe use taskiller to shut them down. For me, I'm not using gps at all so I disable location/gps service. I heard that gps operation can prevent your tp2 to go into sleep mode.

Edit: if you run the teminal emulator under dev parts, you can issue the following command to see the linux processes running; it's not going help you as a user but at least you can see if there's one process the hogs up the system:

Alrighty, I'll check the terminal emulator. Shouldn't be anything too big running..The 2/24 kernel went to sleep fairly well but with 2/26 I'm not getting sleep near as often. I'm going back to 2/24 for now. All I have running is opera/facebook/messaging. Facebook is set to not notify to save battery. Thanks.

I've had one instance where I had way to much running in the background, and it eventually locked me up. I couldn't wait for it to re-init from SOD, so I soft reset back into winmo and made my call. Other than that... WOW.

This thing feels great! I attribute it to the deep sleep never occuring due to having GPS enabled, but it's not making any difference when I disable GPS either. It seems to be fast and responsive either way. I also love the new keyboard backlight timeout. Wistilt2 increased it if you guys didn't notice. Timeout is now 10 seconds and it no longer flashes when typing as it did before.

Did tiad8 fix the wifi issue in BLAZN? I stopped using it since I couldn't get wifi to work; I prefer FRX04, blazn is pretty much FRX04. At this point, I'm using Froyo x red with some tweaks of my own and it's really smooth and solid with this kernel thus far.

Hmm. Restarted my phone for the second time today (just screwing around) and now deep sleep is within one flash of the green LED. Sweeeeet. :D Guess something was just being a little finnicky the first two boots.

I posted a new kernel, but had to pull it. Sorry guys... We'll fix it shortly.

No, Wifi is still dead for me, but I don't use it much. I like FRX04 as well, but the smaller graphics of blazn get me.

Note: In my experience, Android with my current setup (minus wifi) is now more reliable and smoother than windows mobile ever was. I'm full time now with the occasional reboot to recieve mms, then back to Android. It's a beautiful thing.
