I adb pulled that dmesg after I clicked on Wifi, waited for scan error, and saw that wifi was off... It would have the message if that was the case.

that dmesg is incomplete. you need to dump it from android while adb. This dmesg is prior to android starting.

interesting as on the 3/11 build i have wifi tether built in by tethering in settings. i click share interent and it asks wifi or usb, i clicked wifi and my computer found and connected to it although i dont have any service on there, but it never turned off and i assumed that to be the same reason that wifi never shut off even if it says its off as the code to power down wifi is missing

I never tried the built-in one, but good to know it doesn't power down, I will stay away from it (for now..)

ACL I will wait for tomorrow to test whatever you have ready for us! Thanks!

i dont remeber 100% i dont think it kept the router going i think it just kept the icon as the program wouldnt shut off without undoing its settings to the wifi and being that wifi doesnt power down it will drain ur battery even if u u turn wifi off and it says its off

Seems like that could be already know bug but as no one gave me the solution! Here it is:

My device can't boot up with SIM card inserted! There will be always a bootloop when "Waiting for sdcard". Once you take the SIm card out it boots up normal!

Meaning I can't even test out Phone / Data or how should I insert SIM w/o removing battery?

Also display still can't wake up! ACL have you thrown in the code which you spoke about?

Re: NAND Boot Testing - 03-11: FRX05 on NAND (data working again!)

ok.. that damn battery issue we have been having makes more sense now after some good ol fashioned disassembly.

when we plug in the power everything turns on no matter how much batt we have. Thing is, we dont read the reason as to why the phone turned on. In winmo, there are values written to mem as to why the phone is coming on. One of them happens to be "poweron_charging". So when this is found, boom the winmo kernel just relaxes and charges happily. We just bulldoze full blast into android.

So hopefully i can cook up a patch for this. Worse case we will need to dump some haret info after reboots in various poweron modes and compare the mem dumps.

its the same for us i think. When inserting the card, boom a9 crash. So the issue must be rpc related since that would be one very good reason why a9 goes down. I havent really looked into it since we dont use sim cards.

Edit: also no i havent had a chance to take care of the panel yet. I think the sim card issue should be priority since without it you cant use the device.

When connected to powered usb it won't poweroff if you remove the battery ;-)

Hey guys, I know you haven't bigger fish to fry. I see this SIM card problem going on now that you're working on. I just wanted to ask about bluetooth. Are we at all close to getting that working? If not, okay. I'm just asking.
