Re: NAND Boot Testing - 03-11: FRX05 on NAND (data working again!)

I am going to fill my github account with a full fork from cm7 (today's state). this way I can replicate everything! Froyo libs I was talking apply to Xdandroid. More later! Will have to study this github out as I only was "gitting" to my local machine til now! So give me some time...

Plus, only the RHOD400/500 have 3.5mm jacks. Neopeek I thought had a 210, but from his post he has a 300 - either way, no 3.5mm jack in sight.

yeah should be easy enough if uve been already been gitting locally. Im not sure why everyone else uses gitorious (even me lol) but github will work.

It may be easier to clone cm7 again and just apply your patches too. anyways.. glad you got it running. More builds the better for all of us.

Basically, what ACL was trying to tell you is that hardware support (think drivers) and the base system that Android runs on top of is what needs to be developed for Bluetooth and 3.5mm headphone jack and stuff like that.
neopeek is an awesome chef (read: port and customize the OS), but I don't think he will be contributing to actual kernel development.

That being said, please don't take this FREE work for granted. If you appreciate what we do, consider making a donation to guys like ACL or the XDAndroid group who have put in hours and hours of work getting Android on your phone. You'd be surprised how little these guys get in terms of donations, and it really is a great motivator for them when they do ;)

That is awesome news. So glad we have another great resource working on this project :)

Re: NAND Boot Testing - 03-11: FRX05 on NAND (data working again!)

Thanks Nate for the explanation. I was not Abel to understand earlier. As for things being FREE, my remark was intentionally tongue-in-cheek. We all appreciate the hard work that you all do so that the general public can get exploit the full potential of their aging smartphones. I have made donations to devs and chefs in the past and certainly will continue doing so in the days to come.

Now get back to work and give us all that for FREE!!!!! :-)
(Disclaimer: Said in jest.)

you gents are awesome.... i am following closely and waiting patiently.... if i understood more of the things you are doing here, i would be willing to lend a hand, but unfortunately i have no experience with most of what you all are doing...
