Re: NAND Boot Testing - 03-11: FRX05 on NAND (data working again!)

ok will try latest build when its done, is there an archive of any of this so i can play around? and is there anything specific on the 500 that needs testing? I dont sleep and im bored so ill gladly smash away at everything I can, if not, ill just install crap till it breaks, also is this rooted, if not can I root it the normal way?

Actually, we are changing away from using the install-seq.sh to using recovery now. So I will update the first post to reflect the new install method :)

Sadly, no luck on the compiling recovery into the NBH. Still trying to figure out how to compile it all into a imgfs so I can convert it to a NB and merge the thing with the existing payload.

its all up there.. nice and untested.

You should only need 4 files now.
androidinstall, androidupdate and recoveryinstall < --- thy go to the andboot.

RHODIMG is the nbh which needs to be flashed.

this is all untested :-p .. :-)

Updated first post, and here's the install instructions for Recovery:

On first boot, hold Volume Up when prompted to get into recovery. Once the Android logo shows, press the Power Button to bring up the menu, use Volume Up/Down to select the option (Install System), then use the End Call button to select.

same issue as before, switching to recover method, and going to test on my brand new TP2 with diff sdcard, 2 at once = greater testing :)

I've got a rhod500 as well, and this setup works great. It is already rooted as well, so don't have to worry about that ;)

Re: NAND Boot Testing - 03-11: FRX05 on NAND (data working again!)

what confuses me exactly, is that wifi is the only thing not working, and no one else seems to have the same issue, also seem to not be able to connect to the device with the usb drivers provided either, oh well, poke prod and beat untill ready, bake @ 350 and hope it doesnt taste bad :P
