That's what I'm thinking too. It behaves exactly as it did with the previous update....
Is the first post up to date with the latest files, so I can just use the links?

It should be. I linked to the symlinks ACL set up to always pull the latest builds.

I'm not entirely sure where the charging behavior is coming from. Windows Mobile doesn't do that, so it must be controlled by some software running from the NAND and not the IPL/SPL. It's probably handled by the kernel which means we should be able to fix that behavior, but it probably requires more time than it is worth right now.

Actually Windows Mobile does do that too. This was a post of me running into this issue a ways back on a Haret phone.

Still, there are an awful lot of reports about this coming up all of a sudden.

There is a strange issue i need to look into, and i will since i ran into it before. When you shutdown and leave the phone plugged in via usb, it looks like arm9 may still be running. So the phone does not actually charge and continues to drain batt.

only way to break this cycle is to pretty much unplug the phone from usb and pop the battery out to make sure arm9 is completely down. Then you can pop back in and charge. If not, then it will drain. Issue may stem from the fact that we arent killing usb during shutdown as we should.

This does not happen when i shut down without usb plugged in. So i'm pretty sure its usb related.

I was messing around in terminal trying to get su to work. I must not have copied it over with adb just right.

I kept getting "must be suid in order to work properly" or something like that. I also tried to mount system as rw to see if I could move it there. I know root explorer wasn't working.

Appears that /etc/fstab is missing... if we need it at all

ACL or another member of the team please correct me if I'm wrong, but no su commands are going to work currently in the rom because we are not rooted. (you kinda need root access to be a superuser if I'm not mistaken lol).

But anyway, Thanks sooo much guys! The rom is running great, data & market are super fast. Can't wait for the next update :)

That makes sense. ACL mentioned how to root but yet to mess with adb enough

Locked up system on first boot, SOD on second, youtube won't play on third. GPS just caused reboot with GM. I didn't think it was all in my head... I formatted sd this time too, just for shts & giggles.

Seems like SOD is gone, Maybe it's just because I wait a few seconds to turn it on after I turn it off, instead of trying right away?
