doesnt look like we will not enjoy the electron beam on the rhod. Its 24 frames to do that animation and i doubt we have the horse power to pull it off.

cyanogen has a heavily modified surfaceflinger that can adjust the frames but not worth porting in my opinion. ](*,)

so i was testing my open gl kungfu and surprisingly i can get the missing texture portion done using gl1.0 commands.. i thought the texturing was killing us but its not. Its the damn animation itself. I have some garble that thats prob just my dirty mem.. (cpp was never my thing).

My next test ill completely remove any textures and just whiten out the screen. Then just complete the animation in 12 frames.. hopefully it works...

It would appear to be.

Not much new on this front unfortunately. ACL has been working on it behind the scenes, but doesn't have anything usable that is good enough for mass distribution. When he does, he will revive this thread I'm sure ;).

yes for now it is. We actually get attacked sometimes and since this server is not my property I try to make sure its only active when needed. I dunno why people attack us :-( .. well than again kernel.org was attacked so i guess its something to get used to.
