android os for hd2

does anyone know where i can find the android os to run on my hd2?

check this thread at xda. It is where the developing team is posting updates. Right now it can't be done. I have to ask though, why would you want to put android on the HD2 instead of just getting an EVO?

well im a previous user of an android; i see a bigger variety of apps for android then for windows mobile...i just got the HD2 recently so i dont want to change phone i just want to change os

That would be an expensive windows 7 computer. One of my coworkers just bought a new mac laptop, 2800.00. I bought 4 windows7 laptops last year for less than that (1 for each member of the family).

Maybe you should have gotten another Android.......don't expect it any time in the near future. Even if they get it running it will not be perfect. Look at other devices that already have Android ported and running. They still have issues with everything working. No GPS, no camera, calling issues, etc etc. It is nothing you would want to use as a daily OS. It's just fun to load up to play with.
