Re: Swype's dictionary
see if this works:
go to settings > Language & Keyboard > User Dictionary > select word and it will ask you to "edit" or "delete"

Re: Swype's dictionary
AFAIK, swype doesn't let you change words in their dictionary, whether pre-installed or added on. You have to manually delete them by reswyping/typing the word, highlighting it, then pressing the tips button.
If you find a way to get into their dictionary, leave a tutorial somewhere, i've got hundreds of word to get rid of. Last edited by sailow; 01-13-2011 at 10:49 AM. Reason: typo |

Re: Swype's dictionary
As with me. It is a real design flaw to not let you go in and simply edit the words. To do so, mid-sentence is really awkard. Not only that, the swype keyboard does not even have cursor manipulation keys to make it easy to block words easier.

Re: Swype's dictionary
I agree that swype needs a dictionary manager... it's pretty frustrating for me as well.
