Swype's dictionary
I have polluted my Swype dictionary with Fat-fingered words. I am getting that pop-up telling me the word was looking for was blocked by 'ugpe' or 'hirt'.
It is a real pain to key the errant word back in and then select the Swype key to delete it. I have been looking for the Swype dictionary so I could just go in and edit it myself. I am rooted so I have access to phone memory. At this point, I suspect they may be keeping these words in a binary or resource file bacause I cannot find it in a text type. Anyone know where this is at? |
Re: Swype's dictionary
see if this works:
go to settings > Language & Keyboard > User Dictionary > select word and it will ask you to "edit" or "delete" |
Re: Swype's dictionary

Re: Swype's dictionary
I agree that swype needs a dictionary manager... it's pretty frustrating for me as well.
