Re: Swype's dictionary
there is a really simple solution just go into the main menu for your phone-> manage applications-> find swype and clear data!
then you can start all over with a brand new dictionary. after all my searching and finding posts from developers of swype it seems as if the only solution is to learn to write code for your phone, which is fine but I wanted a quick fix! I hope this helps! My 1st post for and on my android! I sure hope I helped someone! And I used my newly cleared swype to post it! Kishki |

Re: Swype's dictionary
The problem is that we dont want to have to CLEAR everything for the sake of some erroneous words that swype mistakenly captured... nice try though. Welcome to the android world.

Re: Swype's dictionary
clearing everything might be the easiest way to go if you've got dozens of words with reoccurring problems. The delete method is not exactly straight forward.
