I used the SDX Stock App Remover. Backup the original, remove it and reboot the phone, and install the new version. You will then need to go into your settings and re-check Swype as yout default keyboard, as well as un-check the Samsung keyboard. Works great. I especially like th eability to select different languages.

9 Megs for the evo version? I was previously on 1.60.36.8214 and it was only 1.8 megs. What happened?

The new version supports 6 different languages. That's going to require some space.

Swype has always been about 6 megs for me, so 9 isn't incredible

I don't get it, my 1.6 version of swype has always had a mic button for voice searching
