9 Megs for the evo version? I was previously on 1.60.36.8214 and it was only 1.8 megs. What happened?

here goes my non root way to installing it.
1download the file

3under the home icon there is going to be 1 or 2 download files swype should be in one of them if not just go to the search tab and type in swype. the app must have the app icon you know like a bag with that mascot if not try redownloading it or donload on pc and drag and drop.
once installed go to setting and enable swype. next go to messaging reply to a message. at this point you will se the regular keboard; just press and hold on the message box and select swype whe the option appears.

The new version supports 6 different languages. That's going to require some space.

Thanks KarlE, works great on my stock EVO, pretty accurate and loving the mic. I take it that this is still in beta and will time out soon?

I don't get it, my 1.6 version of swype has always had a mic button for voice searching

Are you deleting all text from the input box? It should show up after that.

Re: Swype v2.10.52.13753

Is there any way to change the color of the pop-up word selector text? The combination of white and light blue is almost impossible to read.
