I just accept the default name, which doesn't have any spaces. What is supposed to happen after you enter a name? Should it reboot? Or offer some options?

Re: Problem with Rom Manager

Just flash anew custom Rom and see if the problem continues.

I had the fix error with a custom Rom and just ended up flashing another Rom
Ava, fresh, myn, Sprint lovers are worth the try
Google sync and app sync via app brain will make your life a lot easier if you flash often.

Re: Problem with Rom Manager

Maybe I am a coward, but I don't want to flash any Roms until I have a working backup.

Re: Problem with Rom Manager

Using a simple, space-free name did not help. Reinstalling Rom Manager also didn't help. Perhaps I should just find a different way to do backups.

Re: Problem with Rom Manager

Do you have Quickboot? If so then in Rom Manger change the recovery to the other RA recovery and then use Quickboot to get in Recovery. Then scroll down to Backup/Restore and create backup. Then Reboot at to of screen after backing out of Backup/Restore.

Re: Problem with Rom Manager

I haven't had time to work on it. I will definitely update this thread if I make any progress.
