EGO 4G assignable ringers?

What the best program for the EVO 4G to assign custom ringers to contacts and also to assign custom event sounds? I want to be able to use custom sounds for when a text comes in, email comes in etc as well as custom contact ringers. I had a great program on the TP2 and now looking for one for the EVO 4g..

Thanks...

not sure there's one single app that could handle this. each contact you will have to go in and assign the ringtone. for text messages you will have to use either handcent or chomp apps. for email you will have to go into the email app to assign a ringer for the each email address you own (dont think you can assign a certain person's email to a certain ringtone)

gotcha, yeah that can all be set. you'll just have to put the sound you want to use either on your sdcard (make a media/alarms, media/alerts, media/audio, and media/notifications folders) or on the phone in the system/media/audio > /alarms , /notifications, or /ringtones folder

Re: EGO 4G assignable ringers?

Do they have to be in those SPECIFIC FOLDERS? I ask because on my TP2 I just have a folder called RINGERS on the memory card and then I use a program to called JUST TONES to assign them as it lets me find them on the SD card since they arent in the usual place (which on WM is on the internal memory in the correct folder)

from what i understand w/ android it only looks in those specific folders. if they are not in those folders, when you pull up your list of ringers, alerts, notifications or alarms, your sound wont show up.
