Well the stuff they request information for is not at all ridiculous when you think about it. The official twitter app can sync data with my contacts. That's ALL it needs contact access for. However, android doesn't allow access to JUST changing pictures for contacts. They have to have full access, even if they don't do everything they have access to. Think of it this way: You have a barrel full of apples, oranges, olives, and bananas (This is off the top of my head, the food variety isn't the point)

You need an olive from that barrel. Its a very small thing, but you still have to stick your hand in the barrel to get it.

I get that and decent way of explaining it, but it is sort of weird when (as others have stated many times) when I install a game it needs to have access to my contacts? I guess I just wish they were more specific on explaining why they would need access to my contacts and such.
