menu>settings>notification settings> uncheck enable popup will stop that

i have to agree about the "quick reply" from popping up.. i do like the fature when i am working with it... but wish it only did this when NOT LOCKED.. as I have now pocket replied some interesting stuff to people...

But as a "free app" this is really how the stock sms app should have worked...

Clean, threaded, shows date/time/who very easy to keep track of multiple conversations...

I have not tried to change font size and so on since the EVO screen is so big a clean....

And yes, you really should disable the STOCK SMS app from notifying and remove it from screen it just confuses each other...

1*open up all your stock messages
2*click menu
3*go to settings
4*uncheck recieved notifications

Yeah I love how customizable it is. I use the Handcent Classic bubbles and changed the colors and fonts a bit to my liking. Quite a cool app.

From within Handcent... MENU/Settings/notification settings
Depending on when you want it to popup (if at all)
You can change them all with in here...

For example, i did not want the PopUp when the screen was locked.. (Just annoying)

...popup settings/show when locked...
