Well that would be awesome if that was the case but they are in business to make money not to give stuff away so I would expect the worse.

So i'm was considering this so should i get a Slingbox Pro HD or a SOLO ..Mainly i'd be getting this to watch TV on my EVO so would the HD come in more clear on my EVO than the SOLO would?

Im thinking about buying a Solo. From I have gathered over the past few minutes is that both will provide the same quality streaming to mobile devices (your Evo in this case) the difference is when you go to watch them on your computer. But I could be off.

Its in the market now. Has anyone installed it successfully? It lets me buy it but the dl fails

i have downloaded and installed and it works fine, the one thing i do not like is how big some of the menu's are i can't see the tv guide to change the channel. Well investigate a little more.

it says it doesnt support slingbox av, but might work with some configurations.. if anyone with av gets it to work decently, let me know how that goes - like what works and what does not.
