Re: Sirius Radio
WOW that totally sucks! I do not feel that is fair to charge for an application to allow me to use something that I can already use on a wm phone or pc. Oh well guess I will just wait it out for another solution.

Re: Sirius Radio
Like someone has already posted you will not hear howie on the app, you might be able to stream through Skyfire but I haven't tried. There are other ways you can listen to your boy with some searching through the internet streams. As far as alternatives, currently there is none right now.

Re: Sirius Radio
I don't think this is ever going to happen. Reason being, past developers of apps that could access the no-additional-charge internet stream from Sirius/XM had to rely upon the cooperation of Sirius and XM.
Around the time of the merger, cooperation from Sirius/XM pretty much ceased. Now it seems Sirius/XM is getting even more hungry for cash. Last night, someone from XM called to urge me to re-activate the XM radio that came in my car. I told him that: -I already have a lifetime Sirius subscription. -Sirius/XM repeatedly refused to convert that subscription to XM. -In my experience, Sirius reception has always been much better than XM. -For the above reasons, I removed the factory head unit and installed an aftermarket one and the Sirius tuner I already had. He then told me I could: -Go ahead and get a lifetime XM subscription (no way! A LOT more expensive than the Sirius lifetime). -Sirius and XM will combine at the end of the year, making only one company. -After the end of the year, I could (get this!) combine my Sirius lifetime subscription with my XM lifetime subscription "with the new company." (What!?!?) Bottom line, sounds like Sirius/XM is getting too desperate for money to cooperate with anyone who would try to give people the ability to stream their broadcasts for free, thus reducing the demand for their pay-by-the-month streaming. |
