Sirius Radio

Has anyone been able to find a Sirius radio APK? I know there will be an app soon but it will not have Howard Stern.

why wont it have howard stern?

The windows mobile Sirius WM6 has both howard's on it...only thing it doesn't have is Nascar that I really care about.

I meant to say the official Sirus app will not have Howard Stern.

Sirius will probably announce it at Google IO on May 19th, major Android news is expected that day so what better day to break out the champagne and release there newest app for Android?

and while they said May would be the release month, it could be the last day of the month too.

until then, the only way to get Sirius on our phones is by streaming via TVersity & SiriusXMstreamer.

Using nswPlayer on android, streaming via TVersity, and TVersity getting its Sirius stream from SiriusXMstreamer.

Hopefully someone will make a better app for Sirius on Android. I haven't even seen it, and I really don't care about missing Stern all that much, but it sucks to not be able to listen to H100 and H101. I use SXRadio 2 on WM, and while it's somewhat ugly, it's awesome, free (need a Sirius internet subscription of course), plays in HQ, and every channel works.

This is exactly what I am looking for. On Windows mobile I had the Sirius WM6 that was developed by someone from XDA. You had to have a Sirius subscription to use it but it had every single station.

Nice to see one of the ten O&A fans joined this forum. When Sirius releases the official app they will be on it.

Re: Sirius Radio

I'm with OP, I am dying for Howard. I've resorted to downloading the show via torrent and listening to it the next day. I used to do it this way all the time, but I also always was able to listen live. Now the live option is gone I really feel like I am missing something.

SiriusWM6 was actually built by tcbusch at geekstoolbox, he modded the source code from SiriusWM5 which was created by the admin of geekstoolbox, a fella named Dave. Dave is now working on SXRadio2 for WM, BBOS and Android. There hasn't been any new info in awhile though, I was thinking about posting over there to check on the progress.

Thanks for the info Digi. It sounds like there is a glimmer of hope we can get an app with Howard.
